The Impact of Racial Trauma on Mental Health: A Real Perspective

Racism, whether subtle or direct, has long-term impacts on the mental and behavioral health of people of color. Join us for our upcoming session with NAMI Metropolitan Baltimore to learn how we can not only help reduce the stigma associated with mental health, but also to educate one another on the intersections of race and trauma as it relates to mental health. We will hear from a volunteer with lived experience who will speak openly about what it is like to have a mental health condition and how race has impacted their mental health journey.
